CIWTTW’s 1st Live Fashion Event! Getting you ready for the holiday soirées
Tonight at the Melanie Lyne located in Oshawa Mall, a FREE fabulous fashion event took place giving its attendees some insight into what to wear this holiday season.
They thought of everything!
From the outfits~ML’s (of course)
To the shoes~Town Shoes,
To the hair~L’atitudes
To the makeup~Sephora
The models looked holiday party ready and the guests were well feed and inspired!
Enjoy, what to wear to the office holiday party:
My fave dress of the evening
Victoria Secret came out to promote what to wear under your new fab party clothes…and stayed after the presentation to do private bra fittings/consultations!
2. Pink “bombshell” bra~takes you up 2 cup sizes $65
3. Black “very sexy”bra~move the straps to adjust to where you want the strap placed depending on the placement for outfit.
Has a suede inner lining where plastic used to be for less slippage and better comfort.
4. Red panties are “seamless”. Apparently it’s true a “seamless” full back underwear finally exists, but I’d have to wear it under tight jeans to believe it!
When it was all said and done, I soaked up some great fashion ideas for this year’s party season:
If you needed underwear
Melanie Lyne has a lot to offer!
To my fellow young professional women, I know this store looks like its for your mother, however, there are some stellar pieces available; and when they go on sale you are getting quality clothes that will last for years at great prices!
So check in with your local Melanie Lyne this holiday season! These free events are definitely worth attending.
All masterfully organized by ML sales associate, Dacia.
Happy Holiday shopping😊🎅🎁
Slip out of that old winter coat and into your spring leathers. I picked up this lovely little crop jacket at Danier for $149 with an additional 10% off!
The cute yellow top is another steal from Melanie Lyne for $29.00, I typically wear this with a suit, however, it blends seamlessly with casual or work attire.
CIWTTW attended a professional women’s wardrobe building workshop at Melanie Lyne located in Oshawa Mall, hosted by store manager Marylin Saunders (905) 571-7635
The session ran for about 1 hour, was extremely informative, involved no hard sales pitch and resulted in a $25 gift card that I used to purchase the suit pictured below
The session provided information on how to build your professional wardrobe without going broke and dressing for your body type. I learned that I am an inverted triangle shape (upper body broader than lower).
To dress this shape I should focus clothing that makes my shoulders appear narrower, wear accessories that draw attention to the center of my body and accentuate the hips I do have to create the hour glass shape. Below are a few photos of clothing suited to this body type:
Do you know YOUR body type? Whether you shop at Melanie Lyne or not I suggest making a stop in to inquire as these sessions are FREE. Contact your local Melanie Lyne to find out when their next session is taking place, they will also do a private consultation with you also FREE!
“The Closet Equation” 2+2+2++6+3=30 outfits?!?
