Colour is great, but nothing beats a classic black and white look in a light comfortable fabric. This top was an absolute steal at the Mendocino for $25.00.
My only advice for shopping at Mendo during their big sale…don’t shy away from the big rack of clothes you might find a gem!
It does cut a little low, therefore I pair it with a black tank and a pencil skirt and blazer…
This outfit is great for beating the heat and still looking professional.
Light fabrics are great in the summer there is nothing worse than sweatin’ in your dress shirt when it’s 35 degrees and the humidity is making Toronto feel more like 45!
The Look
The Inspiration
Saw this on facebook, and I thought it might amuse you with your love for all things Mrs. O.
One night President Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of the normal routine and go for a casual dinner at a local restaurant. After they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the President’s secret service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner.
Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle, “why was he so interested in talking to you?” She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her. President Obama then said, “so if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant”, to which Michelle responded, “no, if I had married him, he would now be the President.”
I love it…anymore more gems like this please keep them coming. She is so damn awesome she could make any man President
